I created this during a review of the Buchla 259e add-on for Modular by Softube which you can read here: wp.me/p2ZLkE-35k

It's far from perfect, the laptop was pushed to its limits during some of the jams resulting in glitches and audio dropouts. However, these were recorded as one-take live recordings so I've not edited them, that's the benefit of capturing the spontaneity (and inherent risk) of live recording.

All tracks were recorded in Usine Sensomusic Hollyhock 3, the two demo tracks use a basic setup for the Buchla 259e add-on, Jam one and two used a couple of external samples and the delay available in modular whereas jams 3 and 4 just used the Buchla 259e add-on. All of the jams used the Heartbeat add-on for drums.

No external effects were used, the songs were subsequently mastered in MuLab using Elevate and Stage.
