about

This album started life as a live recorded mix of the same name made using Usine Hollyhock II. It is inspired by the short story The Man Who Sought by Dion Fortune from her book The Secrets of Dr Taverner.

I subsequently decided to create separate tracks from this recording and also include 5 tracks from the original live recording which was abandoned due to a CPU overload.

The original mix is the last track and includes about 10 minutes of material that isn't included on the album.

I've used field recordings from Argos and a local park processed using micro grain loop and U-Drone; Polygon by Glitchmachines for drones / noise; homing pad, groove matrix and arperc for the rhythms; Seslatero with Serenity by H G Fortune; grain canvas; Ultraswamp by H G Fortune with the advanced midi sequencer for a lead sound.
