This album is themed around diversion.

At the start of the year I was staying away from home a few nights a week due to caring responsibilities. I needed some form of diversion so reinstalled Caustic on my phone and all of these songs were created and arranged in Caustic, exported and finalised in Reaper using Fabfilter plugins (Saturn, Pro-Q3, Pro-L 2).

I found one song I wrote a few years ago (Disintegrate) and finally got to finalsing. Wandering at Tangents and Guiding Spirits were projects I didn't complete in time and subsequently finalised. Anomaly Modification, Mirage and Escape Device changed coniderably from their original ideas when I got diverted by experimenting with different techniques and effects.
