Marta (@trippingbot) is a twitter bot created by Shardcore (@erocdrahs ; www.shardcore.org) and is the inspiration for this song. Many thanks to Shardcore for permission to use the image and tweets in this song.

MARTA (Meta. Aphoric. Recurrent. Tripping. Algopoet) starts taking drugs at 6pm each day, and then reports on its mental state intermittently over the next 6 hours. As the evening progresses, the bot takes more drugs and becomes more intoxicated, which is reflected in the (in)choherence of the reports it delivers. This reaches a peak at midnight, when the reports cease until it begins again at 6pm the next day.

I've used Orb Composer to create the outline of the song using 3 instances of Go2, Carbon Electra, Synthmaster One, British Drama Tookit with tweets from Marta processed using a variety of effects including Ultrachannel, Blackhole, H3000 Factory and SpecOps. Arranged, produced and mastered in MuLab using Magnetite, Stage and Elevate.
